Beverly Hills is a city of about 36,000 people. in the Northern part of Los
Angeles County, California. The area's "Platinum Triangle" of wealthy
neighborhoods is formed by Beverly Hills and the Los Angeles neighborhoods of
Bel-Air and Holmby Hills. Some of the most expensive real estate will be found
in this area. The median home cost in Beverly Hills is $2,613,000.

Beverly Hills has a motto, "The Garden Spot of the World" and they
live up to the billing. The streets are lined with beautiful palm trees and gorgeous flowers and
shrubs. If you do your own driving, the traffic can be difficult. You may want
to take a tour and enjoy the scenery while someone else does the driving for
you.

You will be struck with the beauty of most of the buildings that dot
the landscape in Beverly Hills. Add the parks, the shrubs, and the great
weather, and you will have an enjoyable time while in the area.

The climate for Beverly Hills is dry, sub-tropical similar to the Mediterranean.
The average high temperature is 75 degrees F., and the average winter
temperature is 45-65 degrees F. Low humidity and a good deal of warm sunshine
make it an ideal place to live or visit.

Rodeo Drive is probably the most famous star-studded shopping street in the world.
The name conjures up images of money, movies, moguls and mega-shopping. All the visitors coming into the area want to see Rodeo Drive and the exclusive
stores that cater to the celebrities and the rich.

Beverly Hills popular Rodeo Drive could easily be considered a city within
itself. With restaurants, lodging, and shopping the international upscale names
such as Armani, Christian Dior, Fendi, Chanel, Cartier, Gucci, Gianfranco Ferre,
Luis Vuitton and more, there is so much to see. There is free two hour parking
available in several nearby garages.
Two Rodeo Drive is a Landmark Mall in the area. Plan on spending some money
when you walk through this beautiful area.
Things To See in the Beverly Hills Area
Mulholland Drive - See the great views of Los Angeles by driving along the top
of the Hollywood Hills.
Virginia Robinson Gardens - This estate of six acres has one of the first
homes in Beverly Hills. Lush and terraced patio gardens with fountains beautiful
to visit.
Greystone Mansion and Park - The largest private estate in the history of
Beverly Hills
Le Chateau at the Beverly Hilton - a famous specialty shop
Fred Hayman Beverly Hills - Celebrities shop at this exclusive boutique in
Beverly Hills
Museum of Television and Radio - Guided tours, which include information
on the Paley Center's history, collection, and current programs.
Beverly Gardens Park - Almost two miles long with a walking path through the
park. There are two fountains, a rose garden and a cactus garden. Located at
Santa Monica Boulevard & Wilshire Boulevard.
